Digitalization and Service is a new operational area created to better and more efficiently support healthcare. We aim to enable more time for care through smart service solutions and digitalization. Digital solutions and innovations are a crucial part of meeting tomorrow's challenges in healthcare, and Region Västerbotten is at the forefront of this. Currently, five operations are included in the operational area, and we are present throughout the county with operations at all three hospitals in Västerbotten. The Service Center is a unit within the Region Västerbotten Digitalization and Service organization that offers and delivers value-creating service activities to the region's employees, patients, and citizens. Patient Service is one of four departments within the Service Center that offers and delivers value-creating service activities to the region's employees, patients, and citizens. Patient Service includes the central reception, information and conference services, entrance hosts (entrance service), and patient transport. You will be part of an engaged team where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our own working methods and processes. You will also have great opportunities for professional development and learning in everyday life, as you may be required to assist where needed, which means you may also have tasks in other areas within the Patient Service department.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a transporter with us, you provide essential service and enable efforts that impact many.

You will be one of those who transport our patients between care departments and clinics. Patients may be walking, wheelchair-bound, or bedridden. Transport of the deceased is also included. Transport is carried out on foot or with the help of a truck or golf cart. During shifts scheduled for daytime, you will also work with directing and coordinating transporters on duty via phone. The position also involves working evenings and weekends.

The work involves both scheduled transports and being available for visitors/patients who need guidance.

QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this role, we want you to have experience from customer and service-oriented operations. Since the work involves many different contacts with people, it is essential that you are attentive and can adapt your behavior to the person you are currently dealing with. We believe that you, as an applicant, are a service-oriented person, flexible, and have a good ability to collaborate with others. Additionally, it is also important for the role to be able to work independently and take personal responsibility and initiative.

We prefer that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. We also consider it an advantage if you have a truck license (A3 and D1).
